( Information Department of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariat )

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov had today a telephone conversation with the President of the Bundestag Wolfgang Schauble.

During the conversation, Dmytro Razumkov expressed his thanks for Germany's steadfast position regarding Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.

The leaders of parliament discussed a number of issues of bilateral relations, including the challenging situation with the Nord Stream 2 pipeline project.

  • Worthy of note

Today, November 8, German parliamentarians were supposed to vote on a bill capable of excluding the Russian controversial project Nord Stream 2 from applying to EU energy law. However, they agreed to reconsider the issue the next week.
