The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov opened Thursday’s plenary session.

 

The morning section

 

The Chairman gave the floor to representatives of the parliamentary factions and groups to make their announcements, statements, reports and proposals.

After the speeches, the Verkhovna Rada carried the agenda of the current meeting.

 

The current agenda:

 

  • First reading

 

1.     Bill No.2194 “On amendments to the Land Code of Ukraine and other legislative acts of Ukraine regarding improving the land-use deregulation and management system”.

2.     Bill No.2195 “On amendments to   certain legislative acts of Ukraine regarding selling plots of public and communal land or the rights therein (lease, superficies, emphyteusis) by means of electronic auctions”.  

3.     A range of draft bills concerning   improving tax administration, rendering legal aid, the judicial system, and protection of information.

 

  • Second reading

 

4.     Bill No.2144 “On amendments to the Budget Code of Ukraine”.

5.     Bill No.2000 “On the state budget of Ukraine for 2020”.

6.     Bill No.0855 “On amendments to Article 4 of the Law of Ukraine ‘On use of defence lands’ regarding the rise in land-use efficiency of parcels allotted”.

7.     Bill No.0942 “On development and state support to small and medium-sized businesses in Ukraine”.

8.     Bill No.2045-1 “On amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine regarding granting the status and social guarantees for individuals from among participators of the anti-terrorist operation”.

9.     Bill No.0887 “On amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine (regarding the introduction of a unified register of persons convicted of committing crimes against sexual freedom and sexual integrity of minors and strengthening liability for crimes against sexual freedom and sexual integrity of minors).

10.      Bill No.2359 “On amendments to Section XX “Transitional provisions” of the Tax Code of Ukraine for securing   meeting Ukraine’s obligations towards the unbundling of natural gas transportation activities under the Protocol on the Accession of Ukraine to the Energy Community Treaty and considering the relevant provisions of the Association Agreement between the European Union, its Member States, and the European Atomic Energy Community, on the one part, and Ukraine, on the other part” (including the bill No.2359-1 as the alternate).

11.       Bill No.2078 “On amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On some issues of registering and importing vehicles into Ukraine’s customs territory” (including the bill No.2078-1 as the alternate)

On changes to UA budget code

--Draft bill No.2144

MPs have considered the bill No.2144 “On amendments to the Budget Code of Ukraine”. The statute was then approved by 282 votes in favour.

 

On 2020 state budget

--Draft bill No.2000

The parliament has reviewed the bill No.2000 “On the state budget of Ukraine for 2020”. The act was taken in tote as law by 280 ayes.
