A.Parubiy: Let Us Unite for Ukraine

( Information Department of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Secretariat )

The Speaker called on the Cabinet and the Parliament to unite for the sake of development, might and wealth of our country

“On June 28 it has passed 100 years since the first Ukrainian Government had been established. A hundred years ago the General Secretariat of the Central Rada was founded by the decision of the Executive Committee of the Central Rada – as a coalition ‘cabinet’ of the autonomous government of the Ukrainian National Republic. At first the General Secretariat consisted of eight general secretaries and a general chancellor. Its chairman and general secretary (sec) for internal affairs was Volodymyr Vynnychenko. The general chancellor was Pavlo Khrystiuk. The other general secretaries were: sec of finance Khrystofor Baranovsky, sec on nationalities Serhii Yefremov, sec for military affairs Symon Petliura…” reminded A.Parubiy.

The Chairperson congratulated the Cabinet present in the House headed by the Prime Minister Volodymyr Hroisman with that historic date and wished the ministers and the parliamentarians the power and prosperity to our state.
